Matches perfectly with aromatic salads, potherbs and appetizers like dolmades gialantzi with zucchini flowers,.fish and sea-foods as mussel pilaf, snails, white meats with white sauces and fatty aromatic cheeses.
Scalarea is the combination of the local variety Kotsifali with the cosmopolitan Syrah. It has matured in French and American barrels for 12 months and its color is remarkably deep red with vivid purple highlights. The wine glass is overflown with rich aromas of ripening fruits, raspberry,.cherry and plum mixed up pleasantly with the aromas of oak, chocolate, and roasted coffee.
